Easy to read and accurate
The Mesqool digital kitchen scale works as advertised and can measure weight in ounces, pounds, milliliters, and grams. It's very simple to use. There are two buttons, one for power and one to switch between the different units. The LCD is easy to read with white lettering and a backlight. For the weight units, everything but ounces measures in increments of 1 unit. For ounces, it's measured in units of 0.05. The weight readings are pretty accurate and I ran a test between this and an analog postal scale. No problems at all! I weighed various things from paper to letters to office supplies.
The scale has a modern look to it, with a smooth brushed nickel surface and a plastic body. The batteries are inserted from the bottom. The feet are made of a textured rubber which prevent the scale from moving around.
Overall, it's a great scale and it's on par with my expectations for $20. It's packaged in a retail box and packed securely in foam. This scale supports a max weight of 11-lbs and includes two generic AAA batteries.
